What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Payment information

When you purchase access codes for our assessments, we collect your name, email address and the receipt number of the transaction. We use this information to email you a receipt, and retain it on our database so that we can identify the purchase if there is a disputed transaction. We do not retain your credit card information, which is handled by Stripe.

If you purchase access codes on behalf of an organisation, we also collect the name of your organisation. We retain this data to auto-complete the organisation for users who use your access codes.

Assessment results

When you complete our assessments, we collect the following information:

  • Your name
  • Your preferred language
  • Your email address

We use this information to personalise your assessment and results, and to email your results to you.

If you are completing the assessment as part of our school program, we also collect the following information:

  • Your school name
  • Your school year

We use this information so we know what class you are in for our one-on-one sessions.

We also ask all participants for the following information, which is optional:

  • Your date of birth
  • Your gender

We use this information to improve our assessments and to better understand the needs of other young people.

In addition to the personal information above, we also collect and retain your test results. We store this information on our database so that we can retrieve it at your request, or discuss it with you at our one-on-one sessions.

If you took the assessment as part of a school group, counselling session or other group activity, your name and results may be shared with the group leader or person who purchased the access code.

Survey answers
